In 2007 Freestyle Inline Skating will have its debut under the wing of the International Committee de Course as a new discipline of the International Federation of Roller Sports.

An agreement was signed by IFSA 9Interantional freestyle Skaters Assocition) and the CIC which has lead to the 1st World Freestyle Championships being held in the City of Milan (Italy) from 30th August to 2nd September 2007.

Freestyle skating is a modern discipline that has achieved brilliant successes around the world. Four different disciplines will be held during the 1st FIRS/CIC/IFSA Championships: Freestyle Slalom, Speed Slalom, Highest Jump and Freestyle Jump.
