The 40th Edition of the FIRS/CIC World Championship (Track and Road) will be organized by the City of Santiago of Cali, Colombia from the 17th to 25th August 2007.

It is expected that more than 50 nations, representing all 5 continents, will be present.

Cali will be hosting the event for the first time, although Colombia has already organized World Championships in Barrancabermeja (1996 and 2000), Bello (1990) and Bogotá (1984).
